Texas Health Resources Unit 33 Renovations

Unit 33 consists of 8,500 SF of women’s services suite, containing 18 ea. patient rooms, a nurses station, nursery, & staff support areas. This project consisted of 4 ea. phases to remodel the existing patient rooms & support areas, while the unit was still occupied. Patient room upgrades featured new floor & wall finishes, as well as new millwork wardrobes & sink/storage areas. Installed in 9 of the 18 patient rooms were new Allegion AD Door Systems, designed to be a slider door system with an enclosed track assembly to accommodate infection control measures. Patient headwalls were updated to better suit both patient & staff use with new acrovyn wall protection at bed locations.
